Volleyball Recap: Howell Takes a Loss

Howell was the 2-0 winner over Colts Neck when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Howell's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-3. As for Colts Neck, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Howell will venture away from home to square off against Freehold Boro at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. The Rebels are facing the Colonials at the right time seeing as the Colonials are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Colts Neck, they are taking a road trip to face off against Christian Brothers Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
