Soccer Game Preview: Riverside Christian vs. Upper Columbia Academy

The Riverside Christian Crusaders will take on the Upper Columbia Academy Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Riverside Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: St. George's, who was ranked sixth at the time (Riverside Christian was ranked 15th). The Crusaders came up short against the Dragons on Saturday, falling 3-0. Riverside Christian have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Upper Columbia Academy didn't have quite enough to beat St. George's on Thursday and fell 2-1.

Riverside Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Upper Columbia Academy, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
