Basketball Recap: Amanda-Clearcreek Comes Up Short

Amanda-Clearcreek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by the Hamilton Township Rangers 91-41. The Aces were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-23.

Hamilton Township was led to victory by Jovon McBride and Lucas King. McBride went 12 of 15 en route to 30 points along with seven assists and seven steals, while King went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 28 points and eight boards. The match was McBride's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daviace Packnett, who posted seven points and four steals.

Amanda-Clearcreek's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Hamilton Township, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Amanda-Clearcreek has already played their next game (against Circleville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hamilton Township didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-59 defeat against Harvest Prep on the 21st.
