Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denver Waldorf). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Victory Prep Academy Knights 46-13. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Denver Waldorf got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Arwen Opyd out in front who posted nine points in addition to five boards and five steals. The dominant performance gave Opyd a new career-high in points. Maelen Roybal was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Denver Waldorf was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Denver Waldorf's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Victory Prep Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Denver Waldorf will venture away from home to challenge Elbert at 4:30 p.m. on February 21st. As for Victory Prep Academy, they will host Lotus School For Excellence at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
