Basketball Game Preview: Mifflinburg Wildcats vs. Lewisburg Green Dragons

The Mifflinburg Wildcats and the Lewisburg Green Dragons will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Mifflinburg has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Mifflinburg is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Selinsgrove 71-44 last Friday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 25 points or more this season.

While Lewisburg didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They snuck past Nativity BVM with an 81-75 victory on Friday.

Lewisburg's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.3 points per game. As for Mifflinburg, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Mifflinburg was able to grind out a solid win over Lewisburg in their previous matchup back in January, winning 61-50. Will Mifflinburg repeat their success, or does Lewisburg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
