Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Mylin Tidd and Makenzi Morrison Lead Yates Center to Victory

Yates Center won the last time they faced Christian Learning Center and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mustangs, sneaking past 2-1.

Yates Center was led to victory by Makenzi Morrison and Mylin Tidd. Morrison had five digs and four aces, while Tidd had five digs and four aces. That's the most aces Morrison has posted since back in October of 2024.

They weren't the only good server: Yates Center was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Yates Center's record is now 5-1. As for Christian Learning Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Yates Center wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Lebo on the 8th. As for Christian Learning Center, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Heartland on the 9th.
