The Clear Lake Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Grace Christian Academy as Clear Lake made off with a 85-59 victory. Considering Clear Lake has won six contests by more than 21 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Jake Soderquist, who scored 16 points along with nine assists and four steals. The contest was his 11th in a row with at least ten points. Cody Hayes was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds.
The win was the third in a row for Clear Lake, bringing their record for this year to 10-6. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.67 points. As for Grace Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clear Lake will take on Middletown at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Technology at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
