Softball Recap: Western Christian Wins Going Away Against Palm Desert

While Western Christian put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Palm Desert. Everything went the Western Christian Fighting Lancers' way against the Palm Desert Aztecs as the Western Christian Fighting Lancers made off with an 11-0 victory. Considering the Fighting Lancers have won three games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Aryana Munoz, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sofia Prentice, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Western Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
