Soccer Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

After flying high against Prospect last Tuesday, Lincoln came back down to earth. The Lincoln Lions fell just short of the South San Francisco Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Lions couldn't quite close it out.

Lincoln now has a losing record at 1-2-2. As for South San Francisco, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lincoln face off against the Mt. Pleasant on January 3, 2025. As for South San Francisco, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against El Camino at 12:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
