Port Isabel and Valley View pushed the score to 22-19 the last time they played Valley View, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Tarpons had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tarpons have posted since April 16, 2024.

Port Isabel's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Valley View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.
