Volleyball Game Preview: Verrado Vipers vs. Canyon View Jaguars + How To Watch

Verrado and Canyon View are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2020, but not for long. The Vipers will welcome the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Verrado sitting on five straight victories and Canyon View on four.

On Tuesday, Verrado made easy work of Desert Edge and carried off a 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-15, 25-21.

Baylee Wakeham and Elleana Bejarano were among the main playmakers for Verrado as the former had 37 assists and nine digs and the latter had 22 digs and two assists. Those 22 digs gave Bejarano a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Canyon View got the win against Youngker on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-2, 25-17, 25-7.

Canyon View's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Verrado, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Verrado came up short against Canyon View in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Vipers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
