Volleyball Recap: Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Takes a Loss

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer suffered their biggest defeat since November 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lourdes Central Catholic Knights, falling 3-0. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18, 25-12.

Elie Bstandig paced Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's offense, picking up seven kills. Bstandig were helped by Maddie Bredemeier and PJ Howe, who contributed six assists each. Finally, Bstandig was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

This is the second loss in a row for Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lewiston on the 13th. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Freeman on the 11th.
