Baseball Recap: Chaminade Comes Up Short

Chaminade lost against Vianney back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Devils fell just short of the Golden Griffins by a score of 4-3. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anthony Wohlstadter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jackson Miller, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Chaminade's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Vianney, the win keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

While Chaminade had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
