Softball Recap: John Jay Comes Up Short

If John Jay was riding high fresh off their 11-5 takedown of Grand Street Campus last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves fell just short of the Brooklyn Technical Engineers by a score of 13-12 on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (11), the Wolves still had to take the loss.

John Jay's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Brooklyn Technical, the victory (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

John Jay has already played their next matchup (against Scholars Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Brooklyn Technical, they will square off against Grand Street Campus at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
