Basketball Recap: Newmarket Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Newmarket put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 50-21 victory over the Sunapee Lakers. The Mules have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Newmarket's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.8 points. As for Sunapee, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Newmarket will challenge Epping at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sunapee, they will take on Newport at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Newport has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
