Basketball Recap: Life Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against Field Kindley on Thursday, Life Prep came back down to earth. The Fire were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 75-74 to the Bishop Miege Stags.

Several Fire players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Michael Munnings, who posted 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinton Rolle, Jr, who earned 18 points.

Life Prep's loss dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Bishop Miege, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Coming up, Life Prep will head out on the road to face off against Oklahoma City S at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Miege, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-50 defeat against Rockhurst on the 27th.
