 Boulder was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. They took  an  8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Poudre Impalas. Boulder was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Poudre apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in April of 2023.
  Beck Chesterton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gavin Nguyen, who  went 1-for-4 with a  home run.
 On Poudre's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Ryan Vandever, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Chase Barrett, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Boulder's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Poudre,  the  victory  got them back to even at 6-6.
 Boulder will be playing at home against Fossil Ridge at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Fossil Ridge's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5  runs per game  this season, so Boulder's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Poudre, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rocky Mountain at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Poudre is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.9  runs per game  this season.
