Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Greenfield's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Greenfield won the last time they faced Golden City and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Greenfield took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10.

Kayleigh Back paced Greenfield's offense, picking up eight kills. Back got some help from Drew Miller and her 15 assists. Miller also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Reyanah Chandler, each putting up three.

Greenfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9-4 record this season. As for Golden City, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-22-2.

Greenfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Purdy on the 18th. As for Golden City, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Everton on the 18th.
