Central Wise is 8-2 against Ridgeview since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Central Wise Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Ridgeview Wolfpack at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Central Wise comes in on five and Ridgeview on three.

Last Tuesday, Central Wise was able to grind out a solid win over John Battle, taking the game 52-45. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Trojans are ranked 136th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Ridgeview earned a 64-54 victory over Abingdon on Tuesday.

Ridgeview pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.9 points per game. As for Central Wise, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.

Central Wise beat Ridgeview 58-48 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Does Central Wise have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ridgeview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
