Basketball Recap: Iron Mountain Takes a Loss

Iron Mountain lost against Menominee back in December of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Iron Mountain Mountaineers took a 59-44 bruising from the Menominee Maroons.

Iron Mountain has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. The win was the third in a row for Menominee, bringing their record for this year to 9-14.

Iron Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Menominee, they will take on Calumet in a tournament on Monday. Calumet will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Menominee surely won't give up without a fight.
