Basketball Recap: Ky Kendall's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hagerman over Potlatch

On Friday, the Hagerman Pirates ended up a good deal behind the Potlatch Loggers and lost 67-48. The Pirates were down 60-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Hagerman's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ky Kendall, who posted 24 points. The game was Kendall's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Casen Knight, who earned 14 points and three steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Hagerman and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Potlatch, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Hagerman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 57-44 loss against Lapwai on the 14th. As for Potlatch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-63 defeat against Logos on the 17th.
