Loretto was the 6-5 winner over Lewis County when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 6-1 to the Panthers on Tuesday.

Casen Springer was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off nine hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Loretto is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-12 otherwise. Springer was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases.
