Baseball Recap: Mt. Hermon Takes a Loss

If Mt. Hermon was feeling good fresh off their 12-6 takedown of Varnado two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets came up short against the Bogalusa Lumberjacks on Monday, falling 16-1. The loss continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their meetings with the Lumberjacks: they've now lost five in a row.

Mt. Hermon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bogalusa, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Hermon will square off against St. Helena College and Career Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bogalusa, they will challenge Doyle at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
