Basketball Recap: Thrive Charter Triumphs

If Holy Cross wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Thrive Charter, they should've done a better job of containing Sondjane Doudin. Thrive Charter really took it to Holy Cross for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-23 victory thanks in part to Doudin, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 16 rebounds. She has become a key player for Thrive Charter: the team is undefeated when she posts at least eight boards, but 6-8 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Adris Oppong-Kyekyekwe, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 11 times she's played.

Thrive Charter now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Holy Cross, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Thrive Charter has already played their next matchup, a 71-26 loss against St. John-Vianney on the 7th. Holy Cross has also already played their next game (against Trenton Catholic Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
