Chaparral's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Vista Murrieta Broncos with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pumas in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won three in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: Vista Murrieta scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-18.

Chaparral was led to victory by Shay Roddy and Maya Raza. Roddy had 29 digs and four assists, while Raza had nine digs and four aces. That's the most assists Roddy has posted over her last four matches.

They weren't the only good server: Chaparral was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive contests.

Chaparral's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Vista Murrieta, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
