            Basketball Recap: West Carroll Thunder vs. Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders        
        
		
        
        
             West Carroll kicked off their season on the road  on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a hard  65-46 fall against the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders. The Thunder haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
 Ashton-Franklin Center's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Nolan Rueff, who  had 17 points.  Brock Lehman was another key player,  posting 19 points.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Ashton-Franklin Center and  bumps their season record up to 2-0.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Carroll will welcome Hiawatha  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Ashton-Franklin Center, they will be playing at home against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Non Varsity Tournament Opponent has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 173 points over their last three matchups.
