            Softball Recap: Lincoln Golden Bears vs. Pell City Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Lincoln came into their game  on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against  the Pell City Panthers, falling  11-4. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Golden Bears in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.
 Paisley LaClair made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with one  home run. Another player making a difference was  Aubrey Machen, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 LaClair wasn't the only one working in the  home run department: Lincoln  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've posted  in their last ten  matches.
Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9-1. As for Pell City, their record now sits at 14-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jacksonville at 5:00  p.m.  on April 3rd. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. Pell City will need to watch out since Hackleburg has now posted at least ten  runs  in their last four contests.
