Tate is 8-2 against Navarre since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tate Aggies will host the Navarre Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Tate has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Tate came up short against Gulf Breeze on Wednesday, falling 16-2. The Aggies have struggled against the Dolphins recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Tate saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taite Davis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that Davis snagged this season.

Meanwhile, Navarre didn't have quite enough to beat Escambia on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Tate's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Navarre, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Tate skirted past Navarre 6-5 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Tate repeat their success, or does Navarre have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
