Kayley Goss gave up the fewest earned runs she has since back in March on Friday. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Goss and Madison Southern will look to defend their home field on Monday against Great Crossing at 6:00 p.m. The last time these two faced off, Goss and Co. were forced to settle for a 14-4 loss.
