Volleyball Game Preview: Tintic Miners vs. Milford Tigers

Tintic is 2-8 against Milford since September of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Miners will take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Milford took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Tintic, who comes in off a win.

While Miners fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Wednesday's season opener. They blew past Green River 3-0 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Miners have posted against the Pirates since October 30, 2015.

Tintic never let Green River on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 27-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Milford didn't have quite enough to beat Beaver on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Beavers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Milford took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 16-25, 22-25, 25-18, 15-10.
