Basketball Recap: West Broward's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

If West Broward was riding high fresh off their 74-39 takedown of Coconut Creek on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats lost to the Miramar Patriots on the road by a 68-53 margin on Friday. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miramar to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alan Charles, who posted 18 points in addition to five boards and three blocks. Those 18 points gave Charles a new career-high. Jayson Negrin was another key player, putting up 15 points and six rebounds.

West Broward's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-3. As for Miramar, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

West Broward has already played their next contest, a 71-31 win against Monarch on the 9th. As for Miramar, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-60 loss against Sagemont Prep on the 9th.
