Softball Game Preview: Tolono Unity Rockets vs. Pontiac Indians

Tolono Unity is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Pontiac is on a five-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Rockets will welcome the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Tolono Unity had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Rantoul on Monday. Meanwhile, Pontiac earned an 11-6 victory over Clifton Central on Tuesday.
