Basketball Game Preview: Lynden Lions vs. Lynden Christian Lyncs

Lynden has won 16 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Lynden Christian has won 16 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Lynden Lions will host the Lynden Christian Lyncs at 7:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Monday, Lynden took their contest with ease, bagging a 69-31 victory over Mt. Baker. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Mountaineers are ranked 177th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lynden Christian was fully in charge on Wednesday, breezing past Oak Harbor 90-43.

Lynden Christian's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Lynden, their victory bumped their record up to 17-0.

Lynden didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lynden Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 61-56 win.
