Rogers's and East Valley's match on Friday was close at halftime, but Rogers turned on the heat in the second half with 50 points. The Rogers Pirates breezed by the East Valley Knights to the tune of 81-51. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Rogers' victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for East Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Coming up, Rogers will be playing at home against Pullman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pullman knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Rogers likes a good challenge. As for East Valley, they and West Valley will meet in a classic East v. West matchup at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
