Volleyball Recap: Montgomery Wins Going Away Against Dayton

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Montgomery walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Dayton Broncos on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won seven in a row.

Montgomery can attribute much of their success to Kennedy Marriott, who had 13 digs and three assists. With that strong performance, Marriott is now averaging an impressive 10 digs per game.

Montgomery's win bumped their record up to 36-10. As for Dayton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 27-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Montgomery nor Dayton have any future games scheduled.
