Softball Recap: Robinson Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Robinson was forced to take a big loss against China Spring on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Friday. The Rockets came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 15-12. This was a revenge game for the Rockets: when they faced off against the Cougars on Tuesday, they had to take a 19-8 defeat.

Robinson let Isabelle Mathis and Peyton Richards run wild. Mathis went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Richards went 4-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits Richards has posted since back in April of 2025.

With the victory, Robinson broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-11. As for China Spring, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Robinson will square off against rival Connally at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, China Spring is set to take on their familiar foe La Vega at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
