Wheeler and Sprayberry are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2016, but likely not for long. The Wheeler Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wheeler's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, Wheeler needed a bit of extra time to put away Marietta. They skirted past the Blue Devils 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Sprayberry kept a clean sheet against Sequoyah on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Chiefs 1-0. Payton Ramsay had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Yellow Jackets.

Wheeler picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Sprayberry, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-5.

Everything went Wheeler's way against Sprayberry when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Wheeler made off with a 5-1 victory. Will Wheeler repeat their success, or does Sprayberry have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
