Football Recap: Dublin Starts off Right with Win over Deer Valley

Dublin gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They skirted past the Deer Valley Wolverines 21-18. This was payback for the Gaels, who suffered a 26-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Dublin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Sullivan led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by herself. Salemi got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Dublin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 19-7 loss against Livermore on the 21st. As for Deer Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 33-0 victory against Mt. Diablo on the 21st.
