Basketball Recap: Logan's Win Ends 15-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Field, Logan was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They secured a 34-29 W over the Pinnacle Panthers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Logan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ruby Kutarna, who went 6 for 12 en route to 13 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Kutarna has scored at least a third of Logan's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abadit Haile, who posted nine points.

Logan's victory ended a 15-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-12. As for Pinnacle, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Logan has already played their next matchup (against Bear River), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pinnacle Panthers take on the Monument Valley Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
