Coral Reef's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the MAST Academy Makos by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Barracudas in their matchups with the Makos: they've now won six in a row.

Allison Pedroso paced Coral Reef's offense, picking up 12 kills. Pedroso got some help from Amanda Augsten and her 15 assists. Pedroso was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Coral Reef's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for MAST Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-5 record this season.

Coral Reef has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against TERRA Environmental on the 4th. As for MAST Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
