Basketball Recap: David Anderson Takes a Loss

David Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 40-21 bruising from the Southern Indians. The Blue Devils were down 33-12 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Jayden Smyth was David Anderson's leading scorer, having posted 12 points. Michaela Farson held things down on the boards with 12 rebounds. Kadence Hood took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

David Anderson's record is now 3-9. As for Southern, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. David Anderson will venture away from home to take on Wellsville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southern, they are taking a road trip to square off against Toronto at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
