Baseball Recap: Hawaii Prep Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hawaii Prep can now relate to. They fell just short of the Damien Monarchs by a score of 4-3 on Friday. If the Ka Makani were looking for revenge after losing 14-3 to the Monarchs when the teams met back in April of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hawaii Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Culbertson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Hawaii Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5-1. As for Damien, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-6-2.

As of now, neither Hawaii Prep nor the Monarchs have any future games scheduled.
