The South Spencer Rebels will head out to face off against the Southridge Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. South Spencer is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

South Spencer is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They lost 10-3 to Gibson Southern.

South Spencer saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ruthee Clark, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was Clark's first of the season. Kali Wink was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Southridge sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over Evansville Central on Saturday.

South Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Southridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

South Spencer couldn't quite get it done against Southridge in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 7-2. Can the Rebels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
