Mineral Springs entered their tilt with Kirby on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 12-4 win. Considering the Hornets have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got Mineral Springs back to even at 7-7. As for Kirby, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.
