Soccer Game Preview: Newark Central vs. Science Park

The Newark Central Blue Devils will take on the Science Park Chargers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Newark Central is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against East Orange Campus last Wednesday. Neither the Blue Devils nor the Jaguars could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Science Park fell victim to East Orange Campus and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. Science Park have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Science Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. Newark Central's draw gives them a new season record of 3-3-1.

Newark Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Science Park in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
