Calaveras had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bret Harte Bullfrogs.

Rhyker Theodore and David Valentine scored both of Calaveras' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Calaveras' win bumped their record up to 8-6-2. As for Bret Harte, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6-5 record this season.
