Baseball Recap: Rowe Comes Up Short

Rowe suffered their closest loss since February 28th on Friday. They fell just short of the Pioneer Diamondbacks by a score of 5-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Diamondbacks: they've now lost seven in a row.

Rowe saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Garza, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Rowe's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Pioneer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-10.

Coming up, Rowe will take on Vela at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pioneer, they will square off against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Diamondbacks are facing the Javelinas at the right time seeing as the Javelinas are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
