Volleyball Recap: Dixie's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Dixie had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Thornwell Saints as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

While Dixie won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-10.

Dixie now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Thornwell, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dixie will square off against rival Abbeville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Thornwell is set to take on their familiar foe Whitmire at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
