Basketball Recap: Skyridge Falls Short of Lone Peak in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Skyridge can now relate to. They took a 55-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lone Peak Knights on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 67-44 loss on February 4th.

Despite the loss, Skyridge still got an impressive performance from Jordan Kohler, who posted 26 points along with eight boards and four steals. That's the most steals Kohler has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ryder Gentry, who earned eight points and seven rebounds.

Skyridge dropped their record down to 12-12 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Lone Peak, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Skyridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lone Peak, they have already played their next contest, an 86-55 defeat against Layton on the 24th.
