Soccer Game Preview: Lake Minneola vs. Mount Dora

Lake Minneola and Mount Dora are an even 4-4 against one another since November of 2014, but likely not for long. The Lake Minneola Hawks are taking a road trip to face off against the Mount Dora Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Lake Minneola is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Eustis on Tuesday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Lake Minneola's goal came courtesy of Zallie Aristodemo, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, Mount Dora didn't have quite enough to beat South Lake on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Lake Minneola's draw makes their record 2-4-1 this season. As for Mount Dora, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1.

Lake Minneola suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Mount Dora in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Lake Minneola avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
